Motul 8100 Eco-Lite 0W20
Motul 8100 Eco-Lite 0W20
Motul 8100 Eco-Lite 0w-20 is a fully synthetic, fuel economy engine oil specially designed for new petrol engines. It is formulated from synthetic base stocks that generate outstanding oxidation resistance, reduced engine friction and enhanced performance at cold temperature for fuel economy savings.
Application:
Recommended for recent petrol engines, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, indirect or direct injection that require an oil with low friction and very low HTHS (High Temperature High Shear) viscosity.
Suitable for modern petrol engines requiring a viscosity grade 0w-20 and fuel economy engine oil (API SP-RC, API SP and/or ILSAC GF-6a standards).
Approved GM-dexos1™ Gen2 for all new GM petrol engines requiring this approval: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GM, GMC, Opel and Vauxhall.
Catalytic converter friendly.
This oil can be mixed with synthetic or mineral oils.
Benefits:
- Outstanding oxidation resistance, anti-deposit protection, engine cleanliness, anti-wear protection and enhanced performance at cold temperature for fuel economy savings
- Improved protection against LSPI for downsized direct injection turbocharged petrol engines
- Extended drain intervals, pistons/rings cleanliness, seals compatibility and reduced content of Phosphorus for after treatment systems compatibility are enhanced
- High thermal stability and outstanding resistance at high temperatures to avoid black sludge and viscosity increase
- Meets highly demanding requirements of performance and durability
- Minimises lubricant hydrodynamic friction
- Improves oil flow at start up, faster oil pressure build-up, faster rev raisings and reach operating temperature faster
- Environment friendly - reduces fuel consumption and therefore minimises greenhouse gases (CO2) emissions
