JAKE EARDLEY

Jake started his motorsport career at the age of seventeen, initially working as David’s apprentice at a MINI tuning centre. After spending the last ten years both building, fixing and restoring cars, they founded Motion together. Jake has worked for some of the biggest teams in the industry, competing in BTCC, TCR UK, 750MC Club Enduro, Mini Challenge amongst others. Securing many wins, podiums and last year the TCR UK championship, he continues to work for Ciceley Motorsport on the BTCC and GT programmes.

DAVID HUDSON

David embarked on his career in motorsport over twelve years ago in the TOCA paddock with the Renault Clio Cup, starting out as a wheel washer and quickly working through mechanical, workshop and engineering roles in various teams. He has competed in several championships each year including FIA World Endurance, British GT, Blancpain Endurance, European Le Mans Series, BTCC, Club Enduro and Britcar to name a few. He has been involved in multiple race wins and podiums as well as the Blancpain, BGT and Le Mans Cup championships along the way. He continues to be a vital member of the highly successful GT team TF Sport as a mechanic on their WEC and other GT programmes.

James Milner

James has been involved with motorsport from the age of twelve. He grew up around his Dad racing grass tracks and ovals which is where his passion began. Starting out in Ministox and then onto non-contact formula’s, he has won multiple races and championships across the country, making it onto the podium in the European championship (he will not let you hear that without telling you he should have won it). He’s raced everything from a Mini to a bus! He has 14 years of experience and is a fully qualified MOT tester with a deep love of building cars including his own turbo EG. James is a vital member of the Motion team.

Adam Goulding

Adam has been involved in motorsport for over 15 years working alongside Dave and Jake for many of these. Initially leaving uni with a motorsport degree and starting his career in VW cup, Clio cup and BTCC. Adam quickly progressing through various roles from Number 1 mech to crew chief where he spent the last few years at GT3 outfit Garage 59. Adam was responsible for the running of the team and cars across Blanpain, British GT and Intercontinental GT as well as various private tests and exhibitions.

 Adam is a VAG group master tech and having worked on everything from VW cup cars, Aston Martin GT3, Mclaren P1 GTR and single seaters there isn’t much Adam hasn’t done as a motorsport or main dealer technician. Adam will be helping us to develop our motorsport programs through filtering down the vast experience he has in the logistical and organisational aspect of the sport along with the aim of growing our knowledge of the VAG cars.

Sam 'Roadman' Windsor

Sam has had a passion for motorsport since the age of 4 years old. At a young age, he restored classic cars with his dad, which included a Mk2 RS200 and a Volkswagen Beetle. Sam has been at Motion Motorsport since 2021 and has since completed his mechanics qualification. He has gained much experience from the team in the workshop and trackside, becoming a great asset to the team. Sam's favourite job is working on the many restorations we have in the workshop. Sam sees his future not only in the workshop but in becoming a great motorsport mechanic. In the 2024 season, he has worked on the 195 Sam Dennis/Ash Moore Endurance Civic, helping to secure an outright Championship Win in the 750 Motor Club Club Enduro Championship.
